At Pathway, we understand how essential it is to be environmentally conscious. We make a practice of giving back to the Earth and using as few natural resources as possible. Our policies include:

Tree Twinning
In order to bring our Carbon impact level to zero and make the world a greener place, we’re also proud members of the Pathway HGV  Tree Twinning Project. When it comes to global warming it is important to think globally, and the Tree Twinning Project does exactly that. Every time a HGV student  trains with us, we work with the Tree Appeal Group to plant two "twin" trees - one in the UK, and one in Ghana. In this way we all help to greatly reduce the environmental impact that is produced by any vehicle, and provide a positive balance to the environment.

Offsetting Our Carbon Footprint
Because our training courses involve a variety of vehicles, we work hard to make sure that every one of these vehicles are fully maintained to the highest standard so that they produce the smallest amount of carbon possible. We feel it is our duty to not only keep each truck, forklift and crane in top operating condition for all of our students, but to also ensure all emissions are kept to a minimum.

We Recycle
The entire Pathway staff also strongly believes in recycling. All of our offices are equipped with recycling bins for any paper, plastic or aluminium products that are used on the premises. We strongly encourage our students to use these bins and participate in the recycling effort.

To further the recycling cause, we also purchase products that are made exclusively from recycled materials. These days there are a wide variety of goods for sale that are created entirely from reused items. Not only does this help the environment by not using up new natural resources, it also encourages other companies to manufacture more items that are created with recycled .

Another step we take is to only print out documents when it is absolutely necessary. Most of our orders are processed online, and saved on computers, which means we rarely have to use paper. Of course when we do have to print documents, you can rest assured we use 100% recycled paper.

Going Organic
These days, almost every product has an organic option available. Whether it be carpeting, materials for cleaning or office supplies, Pathway chooses the organic selection. We never use products that contain man-made chemicals, because they can be harmful to the environment, humans or to animals. Buying organic products may cost a little bit more, but it is far worth it to help ensure the health and safety of everyone.

"Going Green" is a choice that every individual or company must make for themselves. Pathway is proud to be an environmentally active business, and we choose to work with other companies that practice a "Green" manner of doing business. We strive to find new ways to protect and save the environment. Our engineers continually look for new methods to lower emissions in all of our vehicles.
